Hello! Hello! And welcome to the Merchant Exchange with Offices in Pinnacle's Spire, Sort-Tai, and Dragons Den. You look like a very wise buyer indeed. I offer you the opportunity to purchase from any of the merchants in the kingdom through this one location. I can even broker some deals with the local guilds and clerical orders. This saves you time and adds very little to your overall cost. Now I will admit that my office doesn't look like much. But please bear in mind that our previous move has caused the consideration of . . . shall we say . . . certain sacrifices. I also see to it that all of the 18's champions get a fair price and the respect they deserve. I see that you must be such a person. How may i help you this fine day?!

This parchment contains the general store index. In an attempt to promote fair commerce on the two continents and throughout the 18, the Advisory Council commissioned this index. It lists the mean prices for most of the tradable goods and services available throughout the land. The prices listed here are based on numbers received from each of the provinces and jurisdictions. These are then brought before the committee which integrates its knowledge of possible future supply and demand. The index is updated once a year as the Council meets at the Festival at Sor-Tai.

The values listed in the index should be taken for what they are; an estimate. Prices may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Whenever possible, known variations are noted for your review.

The Advisory Council would like me to remind everybody that this index is paid for by the merchants and concerned citizens. It is not responsible for any increases you may experience when you purchase your goods. Rumors to the contrary have been continuously disproved.
