The Situation

The village leader has requested your presence for a matter of great importance. Portends indicate that a great evil is about to consume the land. Only by retrieving the fabled Amulet of Light can this menace to the world be stopped. The question is whether you will be able to survive the journey into the forbidden lands, locate the place you seek and return in time? A Ravenloftesque classic event for six characters levels 9-12.

Coordinator Note: The RPGA has approved and sanctioned this event. It has been listed on their calendar of events. You may only play in this RPGA scenario once. Any attempt to play a second time will be invalidated.

Registered Teams & Their Fates

For reasons as different as their own pasts, a group of retired champions arrived on the designated day. Embarking on a mission that would see the innocence of the soul and the purity of good pitted against the deepest and darkest of evils, these adventurers survived to tell the tale.

Congratulations to all of our new RPGA members for a game well played.

Coordinator's Note: We were short on membership cards at the event. I contacted the RPGA and additional cards arrived on 9/3/2003. I have mailed the cards to members that did not get them at the game. Also, this was among the first of many planned RPGA events that the League will be hosting. Comments and suggestions are welcome. You may notice that the details on this page are a bit scarce. Sorry about that. There are copyright and trademark issues involved in posting too many details for non-League modules. In addition, at the time this is being posted, the module has not yet been retired. We wouldn't want to spoil the plot for other gamers. Your understanding is appreciated. As with all League events, the module materials, scoring sheets, and GM Notes will be kept in the League binder.
