The Situation

Terra 16 has some interesting sights. One of these is the moons of its 5th planet. The orbits of the 8 moons combined with the radiance from their surfaces form a pattern the locals call the Sky Lights of Tiamat. Local religious lore puts the lights forward as proof that beauty can exist even within evil.

To study the moons, several observatories were set up. Eventually cities grew up around these sites. And with these cities came families.

At one such location, called Lunar Watch Site A, gangs have formed from the population. In the beginning it was considered all in fun. Some bragging rights here, some missing fruit there, and no one hurt for the most part. Things have started to change though. A new game is being promoted among the gangs and the city is paying the price. 4 gangs now control the streets of the city where a game of kill or be killed is being . . . well . . . played out.

The city council has sent to Agridor for help. They believe that the gangs are being spurred on by an outside influence. They are asking that you help to identify that influence and shut it down. You are to avoid harming any of the gang members. After all, they are mostly the children of the city. And before this, it really was all harmless fun....

Who will answer the challenge?

Coordinator's Note: This will be the first of several Beginner Level games offered this season. If you've been waiting for a lower level game, or want to see if those lower level team members can survive on their own, enter these games. Feedback welcomed.

Registered Teams & Their Fates

The cries of the children could be heard for weeks after the slaughter. Waking from their nightmares to find over a hundred dead at their own hands, the grief came over them like an unceasing wave of pain and disbelief. The chaos that had begun as a few kids gone astray ended with the Dark Army marching over the ashes of Site A on it's way to no one knows where. Money, weapons, and goods were stripped from the village. The merchant caravan that found the devastation reported that they were investigating the sound of a dying animal. What they found was that the wails for the dead could travel farther than goodness should ever permit.

It was spoken of in the bars of Dragons Den, Sor-Tai, and even Pinnacle's Spire for weeks. In whispers the questions were asked: Where were the champions? How could they let this happen? Do they think we will forget this? Yes, that is how it went. Spoken of in whispers and dark corners. Falling silent each time a champion stepped within ear shot or through a door. The silence carrying more power than the loudest klaxon....

Coordinator's Note: This was the first of several Beginner Level games offered this season. Attendance was too low to run the game. If there are days that would work better for everyone, feedback will be welcomed.
