The Situation

With the secret of the Valley of Death revealed and the return of Panna Krynn, it is up to the champions to heal the land. Even after the wave shunt was dissipated and the spells cancelled, life refuses to return. Locals call it the spite of the Ancients; and they might be right! Buried deep within the protected forests of Graen is kept one of its oldest relics: the Tamaras Heart. King Edward of the Hidden Forests and Queen Ame of Graen have reached an agreement with King Valor. Ame will deliver the Heart to her border. From there, Edward will deliver it to the Valley, and Valor will see it placed and activated.

King Valor was to summon his greatest champions to help defend the Heart and to protect him while he places it. But with his death, the Merchants Guild sees trouble. It is in their best interest to see life brought back to that Valley. But they have no information as to how Valor was to implement his part of the plan. Your job is to discover this and implement the plan before the Valley is lost forever. Once the Tamaras Heart is removed from Graen, it must be used within the time allotted. But again, only Valor had that information. Now if someone could only tell you what the Heart does . . . .

Registered Teams & Their Fates

The champions received their orders. They proceeded to the valley with Illiri carrying the Tamaras Heart. When they arrived, they were greeted by Khevak. Khevak provided intelligence on the location of the entrance to the underground tunnel. Fulfilling their part of the mission, Illiri and Khevak return to Dragons Den.

The teams made their way through the traps and placed the Tamaras Heart in time for its activation. It's arrival in the valley had already started triggering its energy shifting effects. But its placement in the statue if Islinra pushed the transformation into full gear. The visage of Islinra was said to persist above the valley for a full day before it faded once again into legend. Crews sent out to investigate the tunnel to her shrine reported nothing but solid earth where the champions reported its location to be.
