The Situation

The attack on the emergency convoy was foiled and the raiders defeated. With the way clear, the rescue mission for Panna Krynn should go well. But it won't do any good to bring peace to one area if it threatens another. The last remnants of the raiders escaped to Dragons Den where they have taken up refuge in a relatively new building owned by the famous Tagar line. Their Inns can be found almost anywhere. Your job is to flush out the enemy and capture them if you can. Kill them if you must. But whatever happens, they must not escape! Please Note: This game takes place at the Council of Five Nations Convention. The convention has an entry fee. $18.00 at the door for the full con membership ($14.00 if you pay me before 10/9/2002). See the convention web site for single day rates. You are responsible for any fees charged by the convention. The game is a League game and will count for the purposes of successes, magic, entry into the championship, etc..

Registered Teams & Their Fates

A pursuit through an underground tunnel, cornered archers, and hostages in danger marked this to be a classic struggle. Each of the teams showed their prowess. In the end, the raiders were stopped and Dragons Den was once again safe...for now.

  1. Lawn
    Player: Jennifer Sternfeld
Roywyn (Ruin) (Gnome Female Wizard 9 / Druid 7) and company navigated the tunnel under the fountain outside of Tagar's and found the hostages. Coming in behind the aggressor, Ruin used tactics to help win the day.

    Lawn survives to adventure again.

  2. Thunder
    Player: Julia McGinnis
Whisper (Human Female Ranger 14) and Delde (Half-Orc Female Sorceress 9) showed their normal skill and shear strength against the enemy. Entering through the front door, they found the entrance to the cellar.

    Thunder survives to adventure again.

  3. Strength
    Player: Jonathan Sternfeld
Warulf Anivor (Human Male Cleric 8 / Mighty Cleric of Kord 7) entered the front door to find his greatest challenge would be a spell caster that wouldn't give up. In a blazing strike of strength, Warulf charged the spell caster bringing him to within a mere inch of his life. But it wasn't enough. With his last breath, the spell caster let loose with a lightning strike into Warulf's chest ending his life. Luckily, a local temple was able to assist and restored Warulf, but he now has to fulfill 3 tasks for the temple over the next year and a half.

Strength revives to adventure again. Wiser for his experience.

  4. Elemental Fist
    Player: Mark Jerard
Slate Grithen (Human Male Cleric 5 / Sorcerer 5 / Geomancer 7) fought down the enemy with pure power and dealing massive damage to that most famed of enemies; the door.

Elemental Fist survives to adventure again.
