The Situation

The King's power has been challenged. To win over the evil stalking the land, he needs the power he has hidden away in the old mountain palace. Will the evil wizard he trapped in prove too much for the heroes. Who will answer his challenge and accept the quest?

The Result

  1. Steel Order
    Player: Wayne Edie
Gdarin Armorer (15th Level Paladin) answered the King's challenge to retrieve a dragon egg from the mountain palace. By command of his presence, this Paladin was a team unto himself and proved to be a force to respect. He found the safest way to open the entry gate, found the eggs first, and broke down a wall to allow the last two teams standing to exit the palace. In the end, he was the first to present an egg to the King. He was rewarded with a ring key from the King himself. Steel Order survives to adventure again.

  2. The Triplets
    Player: Jen Sternfeld
Madelyne (7th Level Wizard), Celia (4th Level Cleric), and Layla (4th Level Barbarian) showed up to show just what sisters could do when they joined forces. They proved they had what it takes when they succeeded in retrieving two of the requested dragon eggs. Unfortunately for them, Steel Order won the day by completing the maze first. The Triplets survive to adventure again.

  3. Grywlthznchplk
    Player: Jason Isolda
Nate (15th Level Wizard) started off the adventure by trying to give the other teams a major hot foot before they even entered the maze. His efforts were foiled by the King's own defenses. Spelled to prevent the evil within from escaping, a guardian statue outside the palace sent killer probes after anyone using destructive magic. This didn't slow him down though. He continued to summon monsters and demons and rain down devastation on his opponents. It was apparently too much even for him as he left the field of battle for reasons unknown. Before he left, he sealed all of his opponents in with a wall of stone several layers thick. It would later prove to place the two surviving teams in jeopardy. Grywlthznchplk survives to adventure again, but forfeits much.

  4. Rel Astra
    Player: Jon Sternfeld
Singol (4th Level Fighter), Signotchka (6th Level Rogue), and Rannos (5th Level Sorcerer) showed up on the scene with spirit and heart. They entered into the quest with true intentions, but were struck down before getting a chance to complete the journey; mostly due to team Grywlthznchplk. Rel Astra is remembered in memoriam.

  5. Violet Moonwater
    Player: Tai Pimputhar
Violet Moonwater arrived at the palace and decided to leave the quest for the other teams. Violet Moonwater survives to adventure again.
